Measuring public opinion is one of the keys to understanding the perceptions of society or
how the general public or specific strata react to major political, social or other issues and events.
Staying on the top of public opinion is essential for decision makers,
the media or anyone who wants to be an active citizen.
BBSS Gallup International has been conducting regular (tracking) and
ad-hoc Public and Social policies and services since 1992.
Tracking (regular) opinion polls are conducted monthly, based on nationally representative samples of population 15 +. The resulting database is filled in with more than 12,000 interviews per year. It supports a range of standard indicators, where substantial historical data is already accumulated. These include, among others:
| | • | Rating of political parties |
| | • | Rating of politicians & opinion leaders |
| | • | Political & economic & social issues opinions |
| | • | Rating of institutions |
| | • | Government performance tracking (Governance Index) |
| | • | Consumer Confidence Index (in cooperation with TNS Poling & Social) |
| | • | Living standards and income distribution monitoring |
Ad-hoc Public and Social policies and services cover variety of issues from fast, one-day “snapshots” of opinions on hot disputes in the society/media, to more extensive studies on opinions in a region, city, at national or international (multi-country) levels.
Public opinion polling activities of BBSS Gallup International include:
| Designing, conducting, data processing, reporting and analyzing / presenting the findings | | | • | Conducting studies according to standard questionnaires and supplying the data to the customer of the study |
| | • | Subscribtions to the Agency’s regular tracking national opinion polls. Subscribers may place customized questions of relevance to their topics of interest or receive standardized reporting on already existing indicators and related data. |
BBSS Gallup International has a large operational and analytical capacity in the area of public opinion polling.
The company performs polls of any kind, regardless of their coverage, method or target audience (population at large,
business sector, decision makers, marginalized social groups or localities, etc.)
